Our Mission:
To abolish Human Trafficking through prevention, collaboration, support and advocacy
PREVENTION
STTLC prevents human trafficking through educating our community, which includes families, educators, law enforcers, corporate leaders, civic leaders, service and medical providers, buyers and sellers. Our committee tends to raise public awareness through flyers, public meetings, training and social media.
SUPPORT
STTLC provides support through financial partnership, volunteerism, spiritual care and survivor help.

COLLABORATION
STTLC will team up and pool resources with other local organizations to combat human trafficking.
ADVOCACY
STTLC will push for just legislation and hold community leaders accountable.
What Is Human Trafficking? Is It Really Happening in Lake Country?
Sex trafficking is the recruitment, harboring, transportation, provision, obtaining, patronizing, or soliciting of a person for the purposes of a commercial sex act, in which the commercial sex act is induced by force, fraud, or coercion, or in which the person induced to perform such an act has not attained 18 years of age.

Labor trafficking is the recruitment, harboring, transportation, provision, or obtaining of a person for labor or services, through the use of force, fraud, or coercion for the purposes of subjection to involuntary servitude, peonage, debt bondage, or slavery.

Human Trafficking Occurs in All 72 Counties of Wisconsin.
